ISF's Chaharshanbeh Souri event is BACK and we are going to make it more LIT (literally) than ever!
Chaharshanbeh Souri (4SS) is a fire-festival celebrated prior to the New Year. The act of jumping (or casually stepping, no judgment in your movement preferences here) over the fires serves as a method to rid the negatives of the previous year and absorb some positive light and radiance from the fires for the year to come!
Our 4SS event will be held from 5-10pm on Friday, March 9th in the center of campus in Hornbake Plaza. The event will be packed with FIRE (of course) to jump over and DJ-ed music for dancing!
Food, provided by Moby Dick House of Kabob, will be available for purchase during the event.

Due to University restrictions, only college students and alumni will be allowed to attend this event. College students can be from UMD or surrounding Universities. All members attending the event must be 18 years of age or older.
