I hope you all experienced a vibrant evening filled with traditional music, dance, poetry, and student performances, all celebrating the beauty and warmth of Iranian culture. Our Persian dinner was catered by Moby Dick House of Kabob, along with seasonal fruits like pomegranate that symbolize light overcoming darkness!
After the show, we danced the night away with the incredible Iranian DJ, DJ Shamoudi, and hundreds of guests from across the UMD and DMV community came out!
Our event was at the elegant Riggs Alumni Center, Yalda was more than just a celebration, it's was night of culture, connection, and joy!
